I have always been interested in the “How?” and “Why?” questions, and I have always been a creator: From the arts to software, I am at my best, when I'm creating. And software development combines these parts of me into my professional ‘sweet-spot’.

I’ve had the good fortune of having two careers in my life. I was a firefighter/paramedic for 13 years. In that role, I learned about working with diverse groups of people, performing individually and within a group, preforming under pressure, and I learned that you work hard, and help others.

In writing my next chapter, I’m leveraging all my skillsets and experiences to solve people’s problems with software. I love that ‘aha’ moment when an idea springs to mind, the struggles and challenges of the build, and the exhilaration when that idea comes to fruition.
